The Blanket Scarf Saga: Part One

February 1, 2016

blanketscarfsagaThe winter can be a tricky time for looking fashionable. I say this because here in New England the weather can be brutal. With temperatures just above freezing and snow up to your knees, it makes sense that people want to wear a wardrobe made up of only oversized sweaters, leggings, and UGG boots. Who wants to dress “well” when all you want is to stay warm and comfy all day? The outfit just described is as close to pajamas and slippers as one can get to while still being considered socially acceptable by most circles. That is where the blanket scarf comes in! Finally a cold weather accessory that mimics still being in bed, while also sprucing up any outfit.

I went for a preppy look with stripes and matching solid bottoms, while Patricia went for an edgier look with leather and a Diesel body suit. The great thing about a blanket scarf is that it goes with so many looks and in turn can be worn so many ways. Talk about a staple piece!

In the upcoming weeks we are going to be sharing some special content with you that we feel you will LOVE. Lately we have been thinking about how we want to not only share our story through the blog, but also to listen to the stories of others and work hard so that everyone can experience fashion in their own uniquely personal way. We want to thank each and everyone of you for believing in us so far. 2016 is off to a strong start!blanketscarfpatriciaandhannahWe’d love to hear how you would style the blanket scarf!
