Overall My Favorite Season is Fall

Having grown up in New England, autumn has always been my favorite season. Not only do I find it is the best time to dress (because hello you can layer- yet it is not snowing and dreadfully cold at that time), but it is also a special time for festive traditions. One of my absolute favorite things to do in September is to go apple picking with my friends or family. It is simple, but taking the time to be outside in the fresh air and appreciate the changing leaves is really quite remarkable. Also the apples just taste better. That, and they are so crisp!

On an unrelated fashion note: my favorite clothing purchase this summer was by far these overalls. Not only can you wear it paired with a striped shirt and pair of flats like I have in this outfit, but you can dress them up with a pair of pumps and a solid colored tunic. They are the perfect dash of playful!
