The Hunt

for  unique luxe pieces without a designer price tag is both a thrilling and utterly frustrating one.

So I was excited to discover the ASOS Marketplace – an online marketplace for independent labels and vintage boutiques. These boutiques have unique pieces at a variety of price points from all over the world. I found this fur vest, blouse, and the sleeveless coat from this post from a Bulgarian boutique called Megz. Sadly, they currently don’t have any pieces for sale on the site. But I have also been loving  One Nation Clothing and Bennbo (for some really fun super chic shoes.) I love that ASOS has created a platform that makes it easy to support small businesses.

I’ve been loving playing with textures such as embellishments or faux fur to add visual interest to an outfit. So I decided to layer this faux fur vest over a semi sheer chiffon blouse to dress up a pair of dark wash jeans and these fun patent leather loafers. This look could easily transition to the evening with a pair of heels!

One Nation Clothing – This UK brand sells really trendy, feminine pieces that are easy to wear  – think playsuits, beautifully draped coats, and party ready coordinates and crops. Need I say more? Just keep in mind that their shipping is bit on the expensive side.

Alacloth – Based in Minneapolis this edgy boutique specializes in reused and vintage pieces. If you love flannel, vintage levi’s, and all things 90’s chic they will not disappoint.

Mud & Honey Collection – They offer drool worthy intricate crochet styles that will have you feeling like a goddess this summer. They are Australian which means shipping is more expensive but if you’re looking for a unique delicate piece under $5o they are so worth it. I am eyeing their maxi skirts and crochet crops!

Bennbo – A super chic brand from Seoul, South Korea that carries everything from lace up heels to metallic loafers and slouchy sweaters. I love that they offer a great shipping discount when you purchase multiple items.
