NYE Inspired Looks at Wayside Tavern

Three…Two…One.. The countdown to the New Year is here. No matter how you choose to celebrate, New Year’s Eve is a wonderful time to wear something that makes you feel glam.  If ever there was a right time to show off an outfit, let’s be real it would be on NYE. The cozy and chic new Parkside neighborhood restaurant Wayside Tavern was not only the ideal backdrop to show off these holiday-inspired looks, but was the perfect setting to sip bubbly and connect over a meal with girlfriends.

For those looking for last-minute NYE plans, Wayside Tavern is offering champagne by the glass, Braised Lamb Fettuccine, and a Ribeye for 2 special. They will be open from 4-10 PM. Highly suggest their marinated olives and Maine broiled oysters. (Not just for tonight, but always!)

Without fail sequins will always be a go-to look for NYE. Although it can be colder in Maine at this time, a mini dress is always a  fun, flirty option for the brave at heart.  I opted for an open-back mini dress and tossed on a luxurious-looking faux fur jacket and mules. Although realistically knee-high boots would be a better option not only because it feels more sophisticated, but also because it can keep you warmer by covering more skin.

Tenessa shows us how to perfectly rock pops of color. A silver sparkly mini dress pairs so well with white booties. Plus to top it off a colorful faux fur jacket like this red one she is wearing completes the whole outfit. Red especially is a super appropriate color for the holiday season and adds a layer of Hollywood-like beauty.

A long dress is just as fabulous a look. Here Alexis demonstrates the power of a minimal, yet sexy dress option. First off, if you’re comfortable enough to rock it – a dress with a slit is H-O-T. Literally, one clothing item and you look like a goddess. Don’t forget to accessorize with statement earrings.
