STRIPES ON STRIPES

can seem a tad bit intimidating at first, but stripes are a classic pattern that never seem to go out of style. One thing to keep in mind when pairing two pieces with stripes together, is generally horizontal stripes stripes should be paired with other horizontal stripes. They can be of varying widths, but mostly you want to make sure that the lines go in the same direction. Other than that, have fun with it!

Did you notice anything special about this outfit? If you checked out Monday’s post, then you would have seen that this same striped skirt was worn in my other outfit. This week I wanted to do something new and wear some of the same clothing pieces for this weeks’s many outfits. The pieces on repeat are all from Loft, mainly because I wanted to prove how beneficial it is to buy investment pieces. As someone starting to buy from scratch her work wardrobe,  I can’t emphasize enough how vital it is to buy pieces that can we worn with so many other things.
