Happy Friday! Or should I say, “Fri-YAY?!” I’m super excited for this weekend because I am celebrating my 22nd birthday with some close friends in Boston tomorrow night. Although we had a snow day earlier this week, it still feels like the days are dragging on. This may be partly due to how eager I am for my birthday festivities, but I’m also thinking it has to do with the mix of coldness and accumulating homework since the semester is well underway.

On another note, I’d love to share with you my take on the classic Burberry scarf. Most people recognize the tan check scarf, but I opted for it in the color blue. That, and this one was on sale when I got it. You can never mess with a good sale… Back to what I was saying though, I paired it with some surprising pieces to offset the expected preppiness. On days where it is still snowy, but the sun’s out I like to wear tights underneath shorts. Here I wore them layered with a striped top, sweater, and puffer vest. The Burberry scarf will always be timeless (as are a classic pair of flats), but I challenge you to match timeless with a twist. Be bold.. Be fearless.. Be you..
