GRAPEFRUIT & ROSE SODA RECIPE WITH MAINE SPIRITS

The past few months have been so unreal that it feels like we jumped from winter in Maine directly to summer missing spring entirely. Although I crave the warmth of the summer months more than anything, there’s something beautiful and energizing about the rebirth season that is spring. To pay homage to the sunnier days, I’ve partnered with Maine Spirits to put a little spring in our sip. Maine Spirits is the exclusive wholesale supplier of liquor for the state of Maine.

I’ve always been a fan of fancy cocktails, the more edible flowers to garnish the better, however, there is something amazing about an effortless two-ingredient drink recipe that stands on its own. More recently I stumbled across Ketel One Botanicals, a line of 100% non-GMO vodka featuring naturally-extracted fruit and botanical essences that is not only delicious but draws upon my favorite floral flavor-profiles. My absolute favorite is the Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose, which consists of zesty mouthwatering grapefruit and the elegance of refined rose petals. Never had I sipped a liquor before that tasted so good it could be enjoyed on its own. Bonus it’s zero carbs and zero sugars! Be sure to check out the recipe below for a delicious spring cocktail. I just want to note that instead of plain soda water like the recipe called for, I used flavored Le Croix sparkling water to add an extra splash of citrusy goodness.

You can download the Maine Spirits app to access thousands of drink recipes anytime, anywhere. I love that in the app itself you’re able to search for recipes via the specific liquor you prefer or by brand. For instance, I searched Ketel One, and this Grapefruit and Rose Soda recipe popped up among with others.
